In 2006 UKS "Jedynka Limaro" Cycling section organized 3 Nationwide Events in Kórnik, i.e.
VI Championship in Cyclo-cross Wielkopolska, VIII Mayor's Cup race in mountain biking,
VIII street criterion Mayor's Cup and two big Cycling festivities for Children. In total these events were attended by nearly 600-hundred participants.
Competitors of Limaro cycling team in the seasons 2005-2006 won 19 medals in Polish Championship and 16 in Interprovincial Youngsters Cup. Among 24 cyclists in the club there were 16 gaining points in children and youngsters competitions. In this competition our club took third place in the Greater Poland and for the third time I place in Poland in the classification of Pupil's Sports Clubs.
Four of our competitors (Tadeusz Korzeniewski, Tomasz Domagała, Piotr Antkowiak i Robert Małyszek) qualified for National Team for World Championships and European Championships. With results obtained in last season five of our cyclist swere selected to Polish National Team in various disciplines in 2006. UKS "Limaro Jedynka" cyclists competed in total in 70 events across the country. The biggest successes include the win of Robert Małyszka in World Cup in Grudziądz, three Polish Champion's titles of Monika Adamska, as well as Polish Champion's title in road cycling in 2006 of Robert Małyszka.
During the Cyclo-cross Polish Championships of ZLS Association, our cyclists took first place. With the points scored by Limaro competitors, the Great Poland was ranked second in the classification of regions.
Also it is worth noting that our pupils who have finished their junior age, still make progress. They changed their club colors and achieve successes in the adult cycling.
